Our Story
Next Play is an Aboriginal-owned creative studio founded by Noongar-Yamatji man Jermaine Miller-Lewis. Rooted in culture, creativity, and lived experience, we deliver transformative cultural workshops, bespoke artwork, and storytelling experiences that foster identity, wellbeing, and connection across Western Australia.
About the Artist
Inspired by the landscapes, waterways and stories of Noongar Country, Jermaine Miller-Lewis creates contemporary Aboriginal artworks that celebrate connection, culture and community. Each piece reflects the enduring relationships between people, Country and shared experiences, inviting viewers to pause, reflect and connect with the story being told.
Through both his artwork and the Next Play program, Jermaine continues to share Aboriginal culture in ways that are authentic, engaging and accessible for people of all ages and backgrounds.
